Summary of Changes to TypeWell Policies

As of May 1, 2023, we have made several updates to our Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy, to provide greater clarity and transparency to our users. We encourage all users to read through our updated policies and contact us if you have any questions or concerns.

Updates to our TypeWell.com Terms of Use include:

• the addition of new definitions,
• the expansion of our services to a broader range of individuals,
• the incorporation of our copyright policy and DMCA contact information in the agreement,
• the revision of the account types for different users,
• the addition of a section on payment methods and payment terms,
• the renaming of the "user conduct" section to "prohibited uses,"
• the inclusion of language about accessing the website via mobile devices,
• the addition of a section about third-party and affiliate links, and
• the inclusion of an email address in the Notice section.

Updates to our Privacy Policy include:

• Adding definitions of terms used throughout the document.
• Revising the list of types of personal information collected and updating the sources of personal information, and specifying the lawful basis for processing personal information.
• Adding a section about cookies and similar technologies.
• Clarifying how personal information is used and shared, explaining how TypeWell stores and protects personal information, and including a new section on data retention.
• Outlining your rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act and explaining how TypeWell complies with applicable privacy laws when transferring personal information across borders.
• Including information about opting out of email marketing and specifying that TypeWell will never sell, share, or rent personal information without your permission or unless ordered by a court of law.
• Updating the contact information for submitting questions and concerns about the policy.
