Troubleshooting Tips for the Listening Skills Test

If you are applying for the TypeWell Basic Skills Course and you're having difficulty hearing the sound test or the audio story itself, here are a few things to try:

• Use a Windows computer.
• Use the Mozilla Firefox browser.
• Reinstall Java.
• Go to Control Panel > Network & Internet > Internet Options. Click on the Advanced tab. Under Accessibility, click Play system sounds. Under Multimedia, click Play sounds in webpages.
• Use a different computer altogether.
