Updated November 2025 to reflect the current sponsor-required enrollment model.
We understand that circumstances can change, and we want to ensure our refund policy is transparent and fair to all sponsors and candidates.
Basic Skills Course
The Basic Skills Course (BSC) is now open only to sponsored candidates. Sponsors—such as schools, agencies, or employers—are responsible for the full course fee once enrollment is confirmed. Course fees are non-refundable, except in cases of verified extenuating circumstances.
If a candidate must withdraw due to circumstances beyond their control (for example, a medical emergency or major life disruption), the sponsor may request a partial refund or credit toward a future course. Each request is reviewed individually and must include documentation.
Examples of eligible extenuating circumstances include:
- Medical emergency or injury (candidate or immediate family member)
- Major household changes (death in the family, marriage/divorce, birth or adoption, relocation)
- Job loss or other significant loss of household income
- Military deployment or other formal service
- Verified technical issues preventing course participation
- Displacement or life disruption due to natural disaster
Refunds or credits are prorated based on the percentage of the course completed before withdrawal and are not guaranteed.
To request a refund or credit, the sponsor must submit the Refund or Credit Request Form on our website. We may follow up by phone or email to clarify the situation or request additional documentation.
Payment plan arrangements (if applicable) are not eligible for refund or credit once a candidate begins the course.
Refresher Course
Refresher Course fees are also non-refundable except in cases of verified extenuating circumstances. Self-pay candidates who withdraw under such conditions may follow the same request process.
